I had to go to the doctors today to renew my sick note. I've been off work for 2 months with a bad back. He said it's only wear and tear and he doesn't think it will damage it if I were to work. Well and good but would he climb up and down on the back of a lorry and haul tonne weight pallets about with a bad back. I think not!
All well and good to sit in a chair all day but if you have to do manual work there's only so much pain you can take and I can't take really strong pain killers because I have to drive. Bloody doctors have a bit of a reality gap sometimes.
Got a note for another 3 weeks. Hope I can find another job soon.
Anyone need a chauffeur?
